Article 65(1)(d) and Article 99 of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031

D i he competent authority keeps a register of companies that are authorized to issue attestations in accordance with Art. 99 of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 (Plant Health Regulation). Companies may be included in this register upon application. This application must contain the requirements specified in Art. 66 of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031.

• Contact details: Name, address in the Member State of registration and contact details of the trader.
• Declaration by the entrepreneur stating his intention to carry out one or more activities pursuant to Art. 65 (1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031.
• Site plan: This is required for all companies that have other buildings / areas in addition to their office that are relevant to phytosanitary activities (e.g. nursery quarters, greenhouses).
• Information on other business premises: Information is required for all companies that have other operating sites (with their own address) in addition to their head office. Pure production areas (e.g. nursery quarters) are not counted as business premises, but must be indicated on the site plan.
• Information on types of goods, families, genera and species of plants, plant products and other objects that are the subject of the authorization pursuant to Art. 99 of Regulation (EU) 2016/2031.

• Once the required application has been submitted, the competent authority examines it.
• If the examination is positive, the company is entered in the register.

• If you change your contact details, you must submit an application to update your entry in the register within 30 days.
• Any changes to the information on the product groups, plant species, genera or families that are produced or traded, as well as the location of the cultivation areas and business premises, must be updated annually by April 30. If there are no changes, there is no need to submit an application for an update.
