If you, as the provider of a training facility, would like to offer courses for accelerated basic qualification or further training, your company must be a recognized training facility. For recognition, contact the Thuringian State Administration Office.

Anyone who carries out road haulage or passenger transport for commercial purposes on public roads is obliged to undergo initial qualification and further training.

If you, as the provider of a training facility, wish to offer courses for accelerated initial qualification or continuing education, your company must be a recognized training facility.

The following requirements apply:

• Employment of a sufficient number of qualified instructors
• Proof of suitable classrooms and teaching materials for both practical and theoretical training,
• Guarantee of ongoing training for the teaching staff,
• Proof of the applicant's personal reliability.

The application shall be accompanied by the documents required to verify the conditions for recognition, in particular

• the training program, in which the subject areas taught on the basis of the areas of knowledge listed in Annex 1 to the Ordinance on the Implementation of the Professional Driver Qualification Act, as well as the planned implementation of the lessons and the teaching methods are to be described in more detail,
• evidence of the number, qualifications and areas of activity of the instructors, including evidence of their didactic and pedagogical knowledge,
• details of the classrooms, teaching materials, teaching equipment provided for practical training and the training vehicles used; and
• the intended maximum number of participants for the respective classroom.

For instructors in the practical part, professional experience must be as.

• 1. professional driver,
• 2. specialist driver,
• 3. master motor transport technician or
• 4. master craftsman for road transport

or corresponding driving experience, in particular as a driving instructor for trucks or buses.

Before submitting an application, we recommend that you consult with the Thuringian State Administration Office (Department 520).

You must submit an application in written or electronic form, whereby you need an individual recognition for each venue. Recognition can (if applied for at the same time) also be granted for several venues with one notice.

The fees are charged on the basis of the Ordinance on Measures in Road Traffic (GebOSt), Geb.-Nr.: 345 (51,10 - 511,00 Euro per decision).

There are no deadlines to be observed.

Objection, lawsuit

Training centers for the accelerated basic qualification and continuing education must be recognized by the Thuringian State Administration Office (Department 520).
